The year 2020 witnessed the laying of the first foundations for a high-tech greenhouse project for growing tomatoes, in our major project, Alwa Al-Asriyya. In close cooperation between our company, the French company (Rachel) and the Turkish company (Jamra), the first months of the year 2021 were the beginning of planting 17,000 seedlings of 3 varieties of tomatoes, in three sizes as well. To occupy an area of 8,000 square metres. We bet on annual production with a production capacity ranging between 60-80 kilograms per square meter.

This challenge is of great importance to us, with the great positive and economic benefits it provides, the most important of which is the rationalization of water consumption, as one kilogram of growing tomatoes in open areas requires 100 liters, while 3 liters are sufficient for them in greenhouses, not to mention The economic feasibility of agriculture in greenhouses, as it has provided job opportunities for more than 15 people, avoiding the use of toxins, pesticides, and soil pests, easy control of environmental conditions, and the possibility of agriculture in all seasons.
